Resources for Leaders
The ministry at Mission Saint James is a team effort. The work of ministry is not relegated to a few clergy and staff members, but to the whole Body of Christ. This ministry is both inside the Church on Sunday mornings and outside the Church demonstrating the love of God to our neighbors. Our Sunday Teams are vital to our weekly Communion service, which is vital for our work and ministry in our city.

Setup Team
Getting the spaces ready for a worship service and returning everything to its default settings after each service

Greeters
Greeting visitors, directing them to the welcome table, restrooms, worship space, and children’s to drop-off point.

Ushers
As a presence within the worship space, ushers participate in the service by aiding the participation of others.

LEMs
LEMs serve on the chancel and at the altar to lead non-sacramental portions of the service as well as assists the clergy.

Counters
Money Counters are responsible for counting donations given during the Offertory of each Communion service.

Refreshments
Before and after each service this team will provide refreshments over which new relationships can be formed.
